I am a researcher in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Leicester. I took the BA from the University of Cagliari in 2007, the MA from the University of Florence (Cesare Alfieri) in 2010, and the PhD from the University of Leicester in 2016.
I am currently working on the ResponsiveGov Project and my PhD thesis, under the supervision of Dr Laura Morales and Dr Ben Clements, was on how electoral competition conceived in multidimensional perspective affects government responsiveness in advanced democracies.
My research interests include electoral competition, responsiveness, primaries elections in Italy, and the quality of democracy.
